With thousands of sites using the StudioPress Genesis Theme Framework I decided to give the readers here a small look at what I consider some of the best uses of Genesis. This isn’t a perfect list by any means as there are almost too many beautiful sites created using Genesis Child Themes, but it’s a small sample of some of the more unique designs.
I tended to lean more towards beautiful designs and less toward straight blogging sites although there are quite a few of those too like Chris Brogan’s site, CopyBlogger, ProBlogger, Brian Gardner’s personal site (founder of StudioPress) and even this site and my personal blog.
If anything I hope this gives you an idea of the versatility of the Genesis Theme Framework and allows you to expand your ideas of what can be accomplished with it. Some of the benefits of using Genesis are automatic theme updates, pro SEO settings, enhanced security, custom widgets, hooks and layout options, 24/hr support and dozens of stylish child themes.
Here’s my list… if you know of another one, please link to it in the comments section below. They’re not in any specific order outside of the fact these are 20 of the best I’ve come across, but my favorite would probably have to be Win With WordPress.

Nice collection.
I'd like to add some more to the list that utilize and push Genesis.

Great examples of why Genesis is the best!
Thanks Jared. Yep I agree. I've tried quite a few other themes and frameworks, but keep coming back to Genesis.
Although I do like some of the built in niche features some theme developers like Templatic provide and wish Genesis had a few of those built in as well.
For instance Templatic has a review based theme for hotels, restaurants etc… and although many of these extra functions can be accomplished through plugins it's nice to occasionally have a niche specific theme with built in functionality. Hopefully Genesis will start adding some of those to upcoming child themes.

My friend has made a lot of really cool Genesis sites that are a bit out of the norm…
40lovechicago.com is BuddyPress + genesis
Kas-ds.com
Steppingoffthepath.com though this one looks like it still needs some content.
Lanisteinhouse.com is pretty cool, too..
Though maybe they don't really use genesis all that traditionally, he told me part of the big plus is the backend and all the options there for users… Along with SEO advantages of course.
And I know he's doing two really massive buddypress + genesis sites that are little bit more traditional, right now.
It's nuts what a person can accomplish with genesis – also genesisconnect for BP integration. That plugin is amazing.
thanks for the shoutout! Love the versatility of the framework
No problem Amy:) Great job on the site and photography. Amazing work!

Great list! Thanks for including my site. I love Genesis and wouldn't build a WP site without it!
Here's another great Genesis site to add.. http://msqrealty.com
Wow! That is a nice one. Thanks.
