A few years ago there were less than a handful of well known Premium WordPress Theme companies on the market. In 2011 there are literally dozens of great theme companies all doing amazing work and offering great support. Each with it’s own niche and specialty. Some have created frameworks while others have focused on new approaches like drag and drop design. All of these companies some of which are one man teams and others who are full blown companies with numerous employees have added tremendous value to the WP community, blogging and website design in general.
Although Matt Mullenweg and WordPress have to my knowledge never officially given credit to the premium theme and plugin community I don’t think anyone can argue against the fact the reason the WordPress platform is where it is today is because of 3rd party theme and plugin developers.
So with all that in mind… Who’s your favorite premium WordPress theme company and why? Was it price, style of their themes, clean code or because they offered second to none support? Let us know by voting in the poll and then comments section below.
Templatic themes are full of bugs and how can they even feature in this list.
Most of their codes are copied and they have most horrifying support ever seen in wordpress segment.
Thanks for the input Darren. I've only used one of their themes and I didn't run into too many problems and support was pretty quick for me, but haven't used them that much. I will say Templatic does have some nice niche themes with specialty features I haven't seen from other theme companies.
Obviously you had a bad experience with them, but to answer the question which company have you had the best experience with?
